The secretary of the Islamic Council of Tabriz, Said Niku Khislat, said that work was being done to turn the area around the Tabriz market into a place where there would be no cars.
“If we can turn this area into a place where there are no trailers, big and small trucks, it will be a great success for us. In one of the meetings of the Council, the issue of banning the movement of trailers, large and small trucks and minibuses from the Darai Alley to the Old Bridge around the Tabriz market was discussed and investigated. It is not necessary to create an identity for Tabriz. Tabriz has its own identity and it is enough to introduce it to the world.
Niku Khislat spoke about the latest status of the Tabriz Poets’ Mausoleum Project:
“The mausoleum should be connected to the Tabriz Bazaar, Sablamir Mosque and Hasan Padishah Complex on the one hand, and to the famous poet Parvin Etisami House Museum on the other, and a stone floor should be laid between the two places.
Said Niku Khislat said about creative cities: “Creative cities earn money by attracting tourists and expand their tourism opportunities. Tourists are naturally attracted to meetings, festivals, exhibitions, adventure events, cultural and historical sites, sports and other events. If such conditions are created in a city, it is called the Creative City. Therefore, this Council has established private working groups and committees to support artisans, jobs and units, and has received advice and support from skilled advisors to protect artisans. A number of style and code of conduct documents are being decided to protect any area of courage that shines well. ”
The secretary of the Islamic Council of Tabriz, Said Niku Khislat, said that at least a standard Black Box would be established in Tabriz:
“In the field of modern crafts, including the creation of a Black Boxing space along with the Mausoleum of Poets of Tabriz to demonstrate the works of the sculptor Hussein. We have also paid attention to the collection of works of fine art. ”
Said Niku Khislat added, “There are many well-known and prominent craftsmen in Tabriz. There are also countless and valuable works by master painter Nakhchivani, master Bakht Shukuhi and others. We have held several meetings in the City Council to collect these proud works, to prevent them from being scattered in museums, and to collect them only in one place. If this is done, it will be easier for tourists to see these works and it will become a brand for the city of Tabriz. Craftsmen and collectors are waiting for these places to be created, and these places should be created so that collectors will not go to other cities for this purpose. In order to expand the professional events and become a brand for our city, we must be careful about those events in our city. ”
Niku Khislat also touched upon the forthcoming Fifth Expo of Tabriz, which is an exhibition of handicrafts, and stressed that we should be inspired by the Exhibition of Tabriz and support this event. Also, a number of laws must be approved for the Tabriz Expo Center brand to be recognized and preserved.
