Dr. Huseyn Mohammadzadeh Sadig was awarded the “Friendship Medal”. ANT reports citing the website of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Iran:
“On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a number of foreign citizens and people living abroad were awarded badges and medals by the decree of the President of Uzbekistan Shovkat Mirzayev.”
According to the verdict, the researcher and writer of the works of Alisher Navoi, who was a poet, scientist and politician in the Timurid era, one of the important personalities of South Azerbaijan, Dr. Huseyn Mahammadzadeh Sadig was awarded the Friendship Medal for his activity.
Among the recipients of the Friendship Medal are Mark Edward Reese, an American orientalist, researcher and translator of Uzbek literature, Taru Asu, Deputy Prime Minister of Japan, Minister of Darai of Japan, Chairman of the Japan-Uzbekistan Friendship Union, Ahmed Rajabazi and there are the names of several personalities from Europe.
