Speaking to reporters, the mayor of Urmia, Mohammad Hazlat Pur, announced a 20 percent increase in the rental of city taxis.
According to him, there are more than 5,000 taxis in Urmu. And now the rent for each route is 1,000 tumens, which will increase by 20 percent to 1,200.
Hazratpur also said that the increase in rents was part of the country’s visa program for drivers.
