In this regard, the lawyer of the national activist, Mohammad Reza Faqihi, informed the family of the activist after appealing to the Supreme Court of the country on the 14th of Tire.

According to the report, the activist’s 8-year prison sentence was increased by 15 years by the Ardabil Reconsideration Court, and the unjust decision was now upheld by the country’s Supreme Court.
The head of the Ardabil Court of Appeals, Nasir Atabati, sentenced the nationalist activist to 15 years in prison in May 98. The court sentenced Lisani to 15 years in prison, increasing her previous sentence by two years and acquitting her of a previous five-year sentence.

It should be noted that the accusations made by the national activist were “to create and manage the Gamac group, to incite the Turks against national security, to propagandize through the media against the system.”

It should be noted that the national activist Abbas Lisani was arrested by the security forces and transferred to Ardabil prison on October 25, 1997, after protesting against the injustice of the court in the 2nd department of the Iqlab prison in Tabriz.
