Studies show that people hospitalized for the coronavirus live on the outskirts of the city.
The statement came from Dr. Ibrahim Jalili, Deputy Director of Ibn Sina Medical University in Hamadan.
Since the first outbreak in Hamadan, 10,055 people have been hospitalized with coronavirus symptoms.
3484 of them tested positive for coronavirus. 70 percent of them live in cities and 30 percent in rural areas.
Of those infected, 48 percent are women and 52 percent are men. According to Jalili, 457 people died due to the virus.
In the past 24 hours, 3487 people applied to medical centers, 45 of them were hospitalized. At present, 22 patients are in critical condition.
