Two citizens were sentenced to severe imprisonment for illegal hunting

The head of the Main Department for Environmental Protection of Western Azerbaijan said about illegal hunting:

“Those who hunted two wild rams were sentenced to 20 to 43 months in prison in Urmu.”

Mehran Nazari, on the 24th of Azer, said that “there were two hunters, one for 20 months for illegal hunting, 3 years and 7 months for carrying several combat combs and weapons, and the second hunter for 2 years for illegal hunting. He was sentenced to up to a year in prison. ”

Mehran Nazari added, “The guards of the Guard Regiment are constantly walking and inspecting the habitat and ponds of Western Azerbaijan, the National Park on the shores of Lake Urmu and ponds in the province, such as Hasanlu, and act in accordance with the law in case of any violations of life.”

Mehran Nazari, director general of the West Azerbaijan Environmental Protection Department, also said that “if any hunters are observed there, they will be treated seriously, as no hunting propellers have been provided for the animals in their habitats.”
