A board with the word “Azerbaijan” misrepresented in Sulduz

by Kurdish immigrants

The sign “Azerbaijan” was distorted by Kurdish immigrants in the city of Sulduz. As a continuation of their territorial claims to Azerbaijani lands, they began to distort the traces of Turks in the Sulduz region.

It should be noted that on December 18 last year, under the pressure of Kurdish terrorist groups and the order of the City Council, the inscription “Happy Chilla” in Sulduz city square was removed. In May 2017, Kurdish immigrants renamed Sulduz’s “Seven Eyes” region in Persian and Kurdish.

This provocative step angered the Azerbaijani people and the picture was raised.
