ACTIVIST NASER ASHCARI MAHERI WAS RELEASED

Tabriz-based activist Nasser Ashjari Maheri, who lives in Tehran, was released on December 16.

Thus, he was sentenced to early release, taking into account the days of his sentence. It should be noted that 4 activists were arrested by four security officers at 12:30.

He was sentenced to 6 months in prison and transferred to Evin prison. Earlier, Ashjari was sentenced to six months in prison by the 26th Department of the Tehran Revolutionary Court. The activist’s trial was held in that department.

He was charged with “conspiracy and conspiracy to commit a crime against the internal and external security of the country.” The activist was acquitted on charges of “insulting the prophet” and “propaganda activities against the regime.”
