An Azerbaijani activist wrote an open letter from Evin prison

Alirza Farshi

South Azerbaijani activist Alirza Farshi addressed an open letter to the head of the Judicial Office.

In his letter, the activist complained about the violence and shameful actions of security forces.

The Azerbaijani activist wrote in one part of his letter:

“Although several days have passed since my arrest, I have repeatedly appealed to prison officials, but I have not been able to convey my complaint about the injuries to my body.”

Farshi said he had faced various slanders during his 20 years of public and cultural activity.

He said he had faced similar incidents before.

However, he repeatedly complained about moral and physical violence, but to no avail.

It should be noted that Behnam Sheikh was arrested on April 31, 1399 in Tehran’s Revolution Square and Alirza Farshi and Hamid Manafi were beaten by security forces in Tehran on the same day.
