Azerbaijani activist Mujtaba Parvin was repeatedly threatened by the Ardabil Information Department on September 27. Thus, an official of the Main Information Department of Ardabil threatened to arrest the activist and his brothers Murtaza and Mustafa.
He said they were monitoring the brothers’ activities and would arrest them soon. Mujtaba Parvin called the persecution and threats made by the Ardabil General Information Office illegal and stressed that his activities were legal.
It should be noted that Mujtaba Parvin was repeatedly detained, threatened and tortured by Iranian security and judicial authorities in Ardabil.
