Yusif Kari, an Azerbaijani activist serving a sentence in Ardabil prison, said that he and well-known cultural activist Abbas Lisani were taken to the prison’s medical center last night on suspicion of worsening coronavirus symptoms.
He said this in a telephone conversation with his family on December 1.
Azerbaijani political activist Yusif Kari also noted that a large number of prisoners with suspected Jovid-19 symptoms were returned to the colony in Ardabil due to lack of space.
