Azerbaijani national activists Behnam Sheikh and Hamid Manafi Nadarli returned to Evin prison on DeY 4, 1399.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani activists were released on 9 of Azer this year with the consent of the Department of Execution of Sentences of Baharistan Province, Tehran Province. The reason for this was the dangerous situation in the prison in connection with the coronavirus infection. According to the Judiciary, the convicts were released on bail.
Behnam Sheikh, Hamid Manafi Nadarli, Akbar Azad and Alirza Farshi were arrested in 92 on World Mother Language Day. They were sentenced to two years in prison by the 54th Department of the Tehran Provincial Court. The verdict was executed on the 31st of Tir this year on Behnam Sheikh, Hamid Manafi Nadarli and Alirza Farshi.
