Dear and valuable people of South Azerbaijan!
The lands of our brothers and sisters, which have been under occupation for 30 years, are still under enemy control. 20 percent of our brothers’ lands have been occupied. We have displaced 1 million people and killed thousands. At present, hundreds of our captives are in the hands of the Armenian side. Even 28 years of peace and discussions on this injustice have yielded no results other than a few resolutions.
Of course, there are many reasons for this. The Christian world, including Russia. But today the Republic of Azerbaijan and its valuable people are determined to return their sacred lands. In recent days, we have seen Russia relentlessly send weapons to the enemy from our homeland. Yes, the Iranian government has openly allowed this. Also from South Azerbaijan, ie from our cities such as Tabriz, Ardabil, Khoy, Marand.
Activists who did not tolerate these injustices protested in Ardabil last night. However, Iranian security forces could not stand the slogans on their posters and beat the activists.
In view of this, we, as the people and activists of South Azerbaijan, will not leave our brothers alone in the face of the biased policies of the Christian world and the Iranian government. According to the call issued by the organizations of the national movement of South Azerbaijan, as well as national activists, they will protest on Thursday, May 10, at 17:00.
According to the information, a protest rally will be held in Rasta Street of Tabriz, Atayi and Imam intersection of Urmu, Sharia 4 road of Ardabil, Sabza Square of Zangan, Imam Hussein Square of Tehran.
