Mukhtar Ibrahimi, a South Azerbaijani activist living in Maragha, was transferred to Maragha prison.
It should be noted that Ibrahimi was arrested by intelligence officials on the 5th of Shahrivar, 99. No motive has been identified for the activist’s arrest or charge. Officials also took many of the activist’s personal belongings with them when they arrested him.
It should be noted that Ibrahimi has been repeatedly arrested for his activities in connection with the cultural struggle of Azerbaijani species.
It should be noted that the Information Department of Maragha recently increased the pressure on the national activist. In this regard, 26 Shahrivar summoned several national activists, including Davud Azimzade, Hamid Yeganapur, Mohammad Abbaspur to the Information Office.
