National-cultural activist Yusif Kari had to return to prison

Yusif Kari, a national-cultural activist, had to return to Ardabil Central Prison to serve a two-year sentence, despite the presence of the coronavirus in the prisons, at the end of his probation period on the 1st of Khurdad in the afternoon.
This South Azerbaijani national-cultural activist was arrested by plainclothes police on February 12, 1998 and sentenced to six years in prison by the First Department of the Revolutionary Court of Ardabil. He was sentenced to 2 years in prison in the 13th Department of the Ardabil Master’s Court of Appeals.
Despite the fact that a number of Azerbaijani political and intellectual activists were sent to jail due to the spread of the coronavirus in Iranian prisons, Iranian security and emergency officials opposed the sending of Mr. Abbas Lisani, Dr. Latif Hasani, Tohid Amir Amini, Mohammad Abdul Mohammadzadeh and other national prisoners.
