According to IRNA XA, Deputy Minister of Mining and Industrial Affairs of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade of East Azerbaijan Mehrangiz Rahmani said that the Andrian Gold Field has so far been a state payment of 5 billion tomans. However, it owes the state more than 4 billion tomans in 1398, and this figure will increase in 1399.
Mehrangiz Rahmani also announced:
“Zarrin Dag Astarkan Bed Company extracted 126 kilograms of gold bars from the Andrian Gold Deposit in 1396, and in subsequent years and the first 5 months of this year, a total of 1,492 kilograms of 70, 60 and 30 carat gold bars.”
Rahmani also said that there are many problems in this field. In 1398, the Board of Accountants issued an opinion on the method of commissioning of this field, illegal evictions and poisoning of the environment and its transfer to another use. The opinion of the Accounting Board for the transfer of the company to the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade was sent to this Ministry and submitted to the Supreme Council of Fields, and it was decided to consider the Ministry in the Legal Affairs Department.
Mehrangiz Rahmani also said:
“The company’s area of operation is 19 and 12 square kilometers, and the total area of the two fields is limited to 39 square kilometers.”
