Over the past eight years, Iran’s investment has amounted to about $ 90 billion. This figure covers the years 2011-2019. This was stated by the head of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce Masoud Khansari.
The official also clarified the issue of attracting foreign investment to the country. According to the official order, in 2019, Iran has the lowest level of foreign direct investment. Massoud Khansari called Iran the world’s longest-serving country.
In addition, the poverty line has increased in the country, and living conditions have deteriorated.
It was noted that the lack of economic stability in Iran, double supply prices, inflation and the economic downturn are the main factors contributing to the economic crisis.
