On the 16th of Tir, 1399, a campaign was launched for the release of Abbas Lisani. The campaign was launched by UNITED FOR IRAN, a non-governmental human rights organization, by signing videos in three languages, including Azerbaijani, Turkish, English and Persian.
It should be noted that national activist Abbas Lisanidanil has been fighting for national and cultural rights in Azerbaijan.
The signatories also called on the Iranian judiciary to release all political and cultural prisoners, including Lisani.
