The father of South Azerbaijani activists Sahand and Savash Behnamu have been arrested.
Bakhtiyar Behnamun, a resident of Urmu, was detained by security forces at 10:30 this morning. There is no information on where Behnamun was taken or on what charges.
It should be noted that the Behnamun brothers were arrested along with many national activists in Mehrin 10 during marches in support of Karabakh. According to the report, the activists were released on Mehr 11 in exchange for a license.
It should be noted that Northern Azerbaijan has launched operations to liberate the occupied territories. In this regard, the large amount of weapons and ammunition sent by Iran to Armenia has caused widespread dissatisfaction among the people.
