The governor of East Azarbaijan explained the latest measures taken to prevent the cessation of drinking water in Tabriz.

Mohammad Reza Pourmohammadi, on the sidelines of visiting the piping operation and construction of the water transmission line of Nahand Dam to Tabriz, announced the water quota of high-consumption industrial units and some other units to prevent water outages in Tabriz and said: more than 13% of drinking water required Tabriz is supplied by Nahand Dam.

While appreciating the patience of the people of Tabriz in the problems of water shortage, he said: “With the plans made, we will do our best to have no water shortage in Tabriz.”

Pourmohammadi, referring to the deterioration of Sahand Nahand water transfer facilities to Tabriz and water loss, announced the start of piping and water transfer operations of this dam to Tabriz this morning and added: considering the water intake of Shahid Madani dam in the near future and the transfer facilities Previously, in a part of the inner area of ​​the dam, the operation of piping and construction of a new treatment plant in this area has started and will end soon.
