East Azerbaijan Deputy Minister for Political, Security and Public Affairs said:
“In most cities, the situation has been declared red, but the spread of the disease has decreased compared to previous weeks.”
Elyar Rastgu told ILNA about the implementation of restrictions in the region and its impact on the reduction of Covid-19 morbidity: “We have been facing a number of difficulties due to non-compliance with health rules in public places for the last 20 days. In this regard, we have tightened control measures and restrictions, including the mandatory wearing of masks in offices and public places.
“Currently, the situation is improving, and according to the latest data, 770 people have been hospitalized in the whole country. “Since the spread of the coronavirus, the number of people infected with the virus has reached 24,309, and 90 percent of them have recovered and been discharged from hospitals,” he added.
