Yusif Kari, an Azerbaijani political prisoner detained in Ardabil prison, has been on a hunger strike for six days.
The national activist has started a hunger strike on January 17. Yusif Kari said in a telephone conversation with his relatives on November 30 that he showed signs of a coronavirus in the Ardabil prison.
Despite the fact that the issue was widely reported in the Iranian media, the head of the Ardabil prison department denied the allegations. After that, the activist was transferred from point 7 to point 1 of the prison.
