Nasir Atabati, the head of the Ardabil Dadgustari, announced that 11 people had been sentenced in the province for bribery and violation of government rights.
“Six of them are employees of the Ardabil, Gilan and East Azerbaijan customs, and the rest are bribe-takers,” Atasir told reporters.
According to him, these people falsified computers, made changes in customs cottages, took bribes and violated government rights.
He added that the case of these people was sent to the 2nd Criminal Court of Ardabil. The defendants were sentenced to life imprisonment on charges of bribery and violation of state rights.
Atabati added: “There were 13 defendants in this case, 11 of whom were sentenced to long terms of imprisonment, imprisonment and deprivation of public rights.”
The head of the Ardabil tasting said: “The Ardabil justice system will fight against unhealthy economic activities, rents and illegal activities.”
