29 activists were summoned to court in Tabriz

29 South Azerbaijani cultural activists were summoned to the 16th Department of the Tabriz General and Revolutionary Court in Tabriz. This was stated in a statement posted on the 11th Electronic System. Activists must receive their final indictments within 3 days from the date of publication in the system.

According to the information, Siyamak Kushi, Said Maliki Miskaran, Suleyman Alizade Fard, Farhad Aftabi, Rahim Abdullahi Gulenbar, Hamid Mohammad Tagizade, Siyavush Hazrati Dushtur, Amin Mahin Ibrahimi, Mohammadreza Asgarkhani Ganjalu, Akbar Gogali Seghali Purhagas Purgasim Purgas , Amir Hussein Kamrani, Hadi Mustafai, Mehdi Ibrahimzade, Ismail Kuhi Bashir, Masud Fathi, Riza Payin Parast, Milad Ali Narrad, Shahin Pur Abdulla Minag, Javad Khan Mohammadi, Mohammad Heydarzade, Fardin Abdi, Rahim Abdullahi, Mohammad Khan Mohammadi, Ali Dadashzade, Murtaza Farhadzadeh, Magsud Bagiri Gulzar and Abulfaz Akbazadeh Sagqay, 29 cultural activists in Tabriz were asked to go to court.

It has become clear that the activists have been summoned to receive their final indictments on charges of “gathering and collaborating to cause a riot against the internal security of the country” and “violation of public order”.

The activists were detained in Tabriz, Urmu, Ardabil, Zangan, Rasht, Tehran, Khiyav and Maki for holding rallies in support of Karabakh, protesting against Iran’s aid to Armenia, as well as the closure of the Nurduz Border Checkpoint.
It should be noted that these support and protests began on May 8 in Ciral Park in Ardabil. Until the 27th of May, 1399, it continued in other cities of South Azerbaijan.
