The prison term of activist Tohid Amir Amini has been reduced to 2 years and 6 months

According to the ANT XA’s Telegram Channel named after Abbas Lisani, according to an oral statement and information published in the Judicial System, the imprisonment of cultural activist Tohid Amir Amini was reduced from 7 years and 6 months to 2 years and 6 months.

Cultural activist Tohid Amir Amini is being held in Section 4 of the Evin Prison, and his detention was reduced by 2 years and 6 months in accordance with the Law on Reduction of Taziri Prisoners, approved on 22.02.1999.

Tohid Amir Amini’s prison term has been reduced to five years and his sentence has been extended to 21 months.

Tohid Amir Amini is still serving a prison sentence, despite instructions to hand over one-third of his imprisonment to a prisoner.

Tohid Amir Amini and Kianush Aslani Gojabeyli were arrested by intelligence officials in Tehran’s Revolution Square on January 1, 1397, for distributing posters on World Mother Language Day.

After serving time in Evin Prison, they were tried by the 26th Department of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, chaired by Judge Afshar, on charges of “gathering and collaborating to violate national security” and “propaganda against the order.”
