Coronavirus infections and deaths in Qazvin exceeded the national average

The deputy head of the Coronavirus Countermeasures Headquarters in Qazvin said: “The number of daily coronary heart disease and deaths in the province has exceeded the national average, so that the situation in Qazvin is in the super-red stage.”

Quoting the public relations of Qazvin governorate, Manouchehr Habibi on Tuesday in the extraordinary meeting for prevention and fight against Coronavirus in Qazvin added:

“The growth of patients and deaths due to this disease in Qazvin is increasing and the situation has become very worrying. The number of hospitalized patients in Qazvin hospitals is increasing day by day”.

The official named travel as the main cause of the corona outbreak and said:

“Unfortunately, estimates show that most of the trips made to the north of the country during the holidays this month were related to Qazvini citizens and this issue has not been ineffective in the growth of coronavirus patients.”

Habibi named public transport, bakeries, pharmacies and doctors’ offices as the most dangerous places for the transmission and spread of coronas due to the lack of attention to social distance in them and said:

“We ask people to be 1.5 times away from each other when they are in these places.”

He stated: “Considering the current situation, it seems that education in schools and universities in Qazvin will be conducted in absentia, and in this regard, the necessary information will be provided by the end of this week.”

The deputy head of the Coronavirus Prevention and Control Headquarters in Qazvin said:

“Qazvin University of Medical Sciences, Health Services is expected to provide the flu vaccine before the cold season and take the necessary measures.”

Referring to the hospitalization of 301 patients in Qazvin hospitals, Habibi said: “47 new patients have been identified and the death toll has been 537 since the beginning.”
