Majid Kasianzadeh, head of the Piranshahr Health Network in western Azerbaijan, said on the 16th of Aban:
“Currently, due to the increase in coronavirus, 80 percent of the county’s hospital facilities are dedicated to coronavirus patients.”
Majid Kasianzadeh added:
“Currently, 47 coronavirus patients have been hospitalized in the county. The number of coronavirus patients has increased in the past month. In the county alone, 60 people tested positive for coronavirus, one died and the death toll rose to 81,” he said. ”
Kasianzadeh also said that due to the nature of the coronavirus infection, the number of infections is expected to decrease next week as a result of restrictions imposed by the Coronavirus Control Directorate of the province and the county.
