In Qazvin, people pay for food next month by pledging their national card. The head of the Bakers’ Union, Musayyib Bahrami, spoke about the issue.
According to him, in some parts of Qazvin, “people were forced to pledge their national cards so that their families would not go hungry.”
The official said that in some areas of Qazvin, such as Ismayilabad, Chubyander and Iqbaliya, people have difficulty accessing daily necessities.
The sharp differences between the sections of the population have exacerbated the problem. Currently, the only source of income for the population is state aid due to the suspension of jobs.
