Azerbaijani political prisoner Hamed Garaoghlani, who is being held in the Urmu prison, has sent a voice appeal to the head of Iran’s Gazi Forces, Ibrahim Raisi. The appeal says:
“Why did they kidnap me like a bandit, interrogate and torture me, take my medicine from me?” Am I being held captive by dangerous criminals? For what crime was I sentenced to death and 14 years in prison? Did you know that I am being held in a prison in Urmu where there are criminals who use all kinds of opium, then threaten to kill, usurp and claim divinity? ”
The Azerbaijani political prisoner said in his appeal that he was arrested for a crime he did not commit. “Why should my mother and sister be under pressure from the security forces and constantly threatened by intelligence officials?” Garaoghlani said.
