Yusif Kari, a South Azerbaijani political activist, said that if he was not returned to his prison by the 27th of Dey, he would start a hunger strike.
Prisoners detained at the same prison as South Azerbaijani political activist Yusif Kari told his relatives that the political and cultural activist had told officials at the Ardabil Prison that he would go on a hunger strike along with his hunger strike if he was not returned to his prison until December 27.
Mr Yusif Kari, through inmates at the same prison, said that there was only one way to protest against the illegality and swearing of prison officials, and that was to hold a hunger strike.
The South Azerbaijani political Turkish prison stressed that the responsibility for any possible consequences of his protest rests with the security and judicial authorities, the head of the prison and the assistant prosecutor in charge of the prison.
Section 8 of the Ardabil Prison is a section dedicated to the detention of prisoners who have committed dangerous crimes.
