The head of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Mohammad Hussein Sumi, said that the number of coronavirus infections and deaths has increased in East Azerbaijan.
The head of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences said that 200 new people diagnosed with coronavirus had been hospitalized in the region in the last 24 hours, adding that four of them died in the last day.
Criticizing the lack of hygiene rules, Sumi said that since the spread of coronavirus, 30,000 people have been infected and more than 1,300 have died.
The head of the Tabriz University of Medical Sciences added that currently 780 coronavirus patients have been placed in the medical centers of the East Azerbaijan region and another 110 people have been connected to the ventilator.
