According to the second part of the case, the trial of the charges against the South Azerbaijani activist Rza Vasigi was held on the 26th of Shahrivar.
The trial of Azerbaijani activist Rza Vasigi was held in the 102nd Department of the 2nd Keyfari Court of Ardabil.
The accusation against Reza Wasigi in the second part of his case is “disobedience to government officials.”
Prior to the trial, security officials, who are special complainants in Vasigi’s case, had a private meeting with the head of the court.
The judge said Mr Vasigi had to obey officials in plain clothes, even if they did not have arrest warrants. Mr Reza Wasigi strongly objected to the judge’s statement.
It should be noted that Reza Vasigi, together with his brother Ali Vasigi, had previously been sentenced to 2 and 3 years in prison by the 1st Department of the Revolutionary Court of Ardabil.
