What is going on behind the scenes of the actions of Kurdish armed groups in Nagorno-Karabakh, Iran and Iraq?

Karabakh

Although the agreement between Baghdad and Erbil on the expulsion of PKK terrorists from Iraq’s Sinjar province is positive, the lack of a clear policy of Iraq and Iran on the future of the group has led them to military aggression against occupied Nagorno-Karabakh and the Azerbaijani people.

Karabakh, which the PKK terrorist group has been camping for many years, has received more fighters from the country in recent weeks after the Shengal agreement and the opposition of some followers to the entry of Kurdistan Democratic Party peshmerga into the region.

Violent clashes between the Iraqi Kurdistan Democratic Party and some followers in Sinjar have weakened the PKK terrorist group’s base in the city, and the Nagorno-Karabakh issue has opened the way for the group’s elements to escape.

Representative of the Kirkuk people and head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front Arshad Salehi said in an interview with Azerbaijan’s ANT TV channel:

“We have submitted to the Iraqi parliament the issue of the transfer of terrorists to Nagorno-Karabakh by the Armenian embassy in Baghdad. Their weapons and ammunition were also sent to Armenia from Iraq. We have informed the head of the Security Commission of the Iraqi Parliament about all this. ”

The transfer was made in accordance with the agreement reached between the parties in July. According to the agreement, the PKK terrorist group and its Syrian wing, the PYD, are training Armenian militants in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
