The head of Zanjan University of Medical Sciences said: “51 percent of women in Zanjan have been infected with coronavirus.”
Speaking to Mehr news agency, Parviz Gizilbash said that women in Zanjan were more susceptible to coronavirus than men: “In Zanjan, 51 percent of women and 49 percent of men are infected with the coronavirus.”
The head of Zanjan University of Medical Sciences said that currently 500 people infected with the coronavirus have been hospitalized in Zanjan.
Stressing the importance of providing the necessary facilities for hospitalization of coronavirus patients in Gizilbash district, he said:
“Each coronary patient admitted to the hospital needs 10-18 liters of oxygen per minute, and patients admitted to the ICU need 17-18 liters of oxygen per minute.”
According to him, the situation with the coronavirus in the region is red.
