Activist Said Minayi was acquitted in the Court of Appeal

Said Minayi, a South Azerbaijani activist was acquitted by the East Azerbaijan Court of Appeals on charges of “spreading false information.”

Said Minayi had previously been acquitted of insulting and slandering people in the 2nd Division of the Maragha Court, but was charged with “spreading lies”.

Said Minayi, the director of the National Thought Telegram channel, a southern activist, was harassed and sued by special circles for publishing an article entitled “The connection between the Armenian lobby and Pan-Iranianism.”
