Referring to the revival of the Silk Road, Seyid Salman Zaker, a representative of the people of Urmu, the capital of Western Azerbaijan, said: “The Silk Road is a trade issue from China to Europe, and Iran is on the road.
The city of Urmu is also at the junction of the Silk Road.
Seyid Salman stressed that “if it is possible to revive the Silk Road and draw the state’s attention to the fact that the region is strategically important in terms of trade, this region can be considered a major center for trade.”
