Farmers complain about the high cost of planting materials

Suleyman Qudrati

Suleyman Qudrati, head of the Planting and Vocational System of Western Azerbaijan, said that the prices of planting materials such as fertilizers and insecticides have risen sharply:
“It is also difficult to get planting equipment. On the other hand, the cost of buying or renting sowing machines has risen, and there is a shortage. In Sulduz district, 300 people are waiting in line to get a tractor for harvesting.

He went on to say that the state should help others.

“Once upon a time, we saw that the government’s policies in this area caused injuries instead of patronage. For example, last year, farmers received 1,700 tumens per kilo of wheat, but farmers could sell that straw for more. Strangely enough, wheat straw is more expensive than itself.” “But this issue is the result of wrong policies.”
