34 AHAR VILLAGES DEPRIVED OF COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Rasoul Khodabakhsh stated in a meeting to review the issues and problems of communication and telecommunication infrastructures of Ahar city: 34 villages of Ahar city do not have landline, mobile and high-speed internet coverage and people have access to mobile services. They demand the Internet, which is one of the needs of today’s society.

He stated that it is not acceptable not to eliminate blind spots without mobile phone antennas, adding:

“Our request is that the General Department of Telecommunications and Information Technology to equip at least 15 densely populated villages of Ahar city with ADSL internet so that we can Respond to the demands of the people.

The governor of Ahar also said that Ahar city is ranked 21st in East Azerbaijan in terms of rural home internet, adding: “We expect the villages of Ahar city to have at least one connection.”

Khodabakhsh pointed out in the end:

“Unfortunately, the web, as expected, and despite having the fourth generation Internet, has not been able to perform well in meeting and fulfilling the demands of the people.”
