The Zangan Cultural Heritage Preservation Organization has announced the discovery of pottery and historical artifacts dating back to a thousand years before Christmas.
Colonel Abelfaz Muradi said that the historical artifacts were seized during the sale with the intervention of the police and handed over to the Zangan Historical Works Protection Department.
According to Muradi, the seized historical artifacts are believed to date back to a thousand years before Christmas and the beginning of the Islamic era.
Abelfazl Muradi asked the citizens who encountered similar incidents to immediately inform the police.
It should be noted that many historical works of Azerbaijan were looted by smugglers and mafia in this area. Also, as a result of careless excavations, many historical monuments were damaged.
