LATEST CONDITIONS OF ACTIVISTS ARRESTED IN KARABAKH SUPPORT RALLIES

New information has been spread about peaceful rallies in support of Karabakh. According to the report, Afsana Akbarzadeh, a resident of Ardabil, was arrested by the order of Nonahal for protesting against the illegal arrest of her husband and the conduct of the security forces, as well as the indecent treatment of the judge.

Mahmoud Mahmudi, a national activist living in Qalaibar, was arrested on Mehr 10 in connection with the protests. No information has been released on the whereabouts or charges of the activist.

Activists Hushang Taghizadeh, Amir Govhari, Ashkan Saadat Mehr, and Riza Khalili, who took part in the rally in Urmu on May 10, were detained and summoned to security. All four activists were reportedly threatened for several hours. After questioning, they were released at 20:00 that evening.

Activists Javad Rizayi, Salar Tahir Afshar, Sahand Behnemun, and an unidentified protester were also arrested and taken to an unknown location in Urmia. According to witnesses, the identities of dozens of activists arrested during the protest in Imam Alley in Urmu are still unknown.

According to the report, on Mehr 10, more than 100 activists were summoned to the Information Office and interrogated. They were reportedly detained.

Ali Kheyrjun, Mohsun Ismaili Muqaddam, Meysam Colani, Ahmad Mohammadpur, Yashar Moradi, Ali Maali, Yunis Moradi, Meysam Colani, Marziya Javanshir, Daryush Niyazi, and Peyman Aghayi were arrested in Ardabil. There are reports of the arrest of Salar Tahir Afshar, Abolfazl Asgarzadeh, Javad Rizai, Sahand Behnemun, and six other unnamed people in Urmia.
